I was at the recent Juicy Couture sample sale, at first it was very exciting and even more so that the sets were available at such a good price. The variety was good but quite difficult to get a matching set, after asking the helpful staff we eventually picked up 2 navy sets and one sage green along with bags and other things. Extremely happy with our purchase, we returned home, unfortunately after just one wear, no washing, two of the gems had fallen off the navy set, unexpectedly for a brand of such stature. Reading the policy, I saw “no refunds” and “customers must be aware of the quality they are buying” I was shocked as surely it cannot be the customer’s fault for faulty quality?

Respond to Eme: You charge an entry fee as charity every single month of the year. I’d like to chose myself who and how I support and have an idea where my money going to. So please line “its a Christmas charity, doesn’t really respond to my comment”. I won’t come back and won’t support your business any longer. You pay annual membership fee for 4 years… You visited the venue 0 time for last 2,5 years…. but be ready to pay an obliged donation on the entry. Even if u want just to pop in and see if u there is anything left on the last day of sale. In the past, this donation was optional now “you must to pay, or leave..”. Won’t pay annual membership anymore and will ask for refund for the current year. Idea: add this donation to the bill if you buy anything but no I don’t want to pay an additional fee just to see the last day stock! Especially if you charged me already for the whole year entrance fee. Or add that amount to your membership and stop asking ppl to pay on the door… Not to mention please let me choose myself which charity i want to support. On additional not: Very rude lady on the entrance door, refused to call the manager for 4 times… (Its my customer right I’m afraid).

I love the concept of this place and you get really good deals. The staff are working hard and very efficiently considering how busy the place gets— they are very friendly, too. You do need to pay when entering and leave your bag/coat in a cloak room. The only issue is, sometimes the payment is different and if you come late you are not asked to pay which is unfair for those who did

Staff didn't make a big effort to explain the process to people that had not shopped there before. Good selection of items at the sample sale I went to, but not much left in my size and aisles can feel a bit cramped if it's busy

Amazing place and really chuffed that they've got a pop up for the next few weeks in Manchester. Just treated myself to a few bits and got some amazing stuff from the Sophia Webster and Belstaff sale. Really great choice of items and a lovely buying experience as the staff are super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend especially in the run up to Christmas as I've sorted the hubby out with some hoodies from Helmut Lang 😍
